Hot topics for Broadland businesses - Debating the real issues

As a Broadland business, you are invited to the next Broadland Business Forum event where you will have to opportunity to discuss topics such as developing growth in the Broadland economy, growth, transportation and investment issues and the Northern Distributor Route.
 
Richard Ellis, chairman of EEDA (East of England Development Agency), will be giving a presentation on 'Developing Growth in the Broadland Economy'.  This interesting and informative presentation will include:
  • What are EEDA doing to support it?
  • What do local businesses think?
  • Business growth in Broadland
  • Challenge of creating new jobs
  • How does Broadland encourage investment?
There will also be a presentation from Sandra Dinneen, Head of Economic Development at Norfolk County Council on 'Growth, Transportation and Investment Issues'.  This presentation will include:
  • Norfolk County Council views on jobs and transportation infrastructure
  • Discussion of findings of new economic study by NCC
  • Impact of the Northern Distributor Route decisions
  • Achieving growth and investment in the area.
David Joll, Managing Director of Bernard Matthews plc will also be giving a brief presentation on the views of local businesses.  There will be the opportunity for Broadland businesses to debate all of these issues, with the expert panel available to answer any questions.
 
Once the formal part of the evening closes, delegates and speakers will be invited to network over a Hog Roast and a pay bar will also be available.
 
We would also like to invite you to the Budget Consultation with John Duvall, Head of Finance at Broadland District Council, commencing at 4pm. The AGM of the Broadland Business Forum will start at 4:30pm before the main event.
 
The cost is £10 per person for Broadland Business Forum members and £15 per person for non members.
