Broadland Business ParkAnd it also includes a number of people whose business careers have been less in the public spotlight.
There is no doubt that in future years the list will change, as careers take off and new businesses emerge.
A great deal of thought has gone into compiling of the table and researching the 100 entrants, which is the first ever attempt to rank the region’s leading business figures.
Our 100 are drawn from a range of sectors, from financial services to food processing, from the oil and gas industry to retailing and also includes a number of representatives from the public sector.
It also shows the incredible diversity of the regional business scene.

While there are still a large number of agricultural and food-related businesses featured on the list, there are growing numbers of internet entrepreneurs, property developers and financial services companies.
As well as the Norwich Business School, which helped compile the Power 100 league table I would like to thank Bank of Scotland Corporate, Pricewater-houseCoopers, Birketts, Cooper Lomaz and Bentley Norwich for their support in making this project possible.
While a huge amount of effort has gone into compiling the league table, no list is perfect, and there will no doubt be business people who feel they have been overlooked and a degree of debate about the rankings of individuals within the table.
Nevertheless we believe the table is a really good indication of who are the major figures in the region’s thriving business community and I’d be pleased to hear your feedback.

How we made our choices
